Prämenta Jaguar XK 120 coupé - Germany 1950's
A beautiful Prämeta Jaguar XK 120 Car. Chrome Die Cast wind up car in a good working condition with its original key, in the figural form of a Policeman.
The car works with a strong wind up motor and all 3 forward speeds and reverse worked when tested. The adjustable steering works as well. The blue window tint has a nice mirror finish, and is in well cared for condition for an antique toy car.
Here is some information about the maker. Five Prämeta models were produced in Germany in 1951. Sporting clockwork motors and a transmission with three forward gears, neutral and reverse, they were made within a 1:30 - 1:40 scale range except for the Volkswagen which was made to a slightly larger scale and reportedly didn't have a wind-up mechanism. The models issued are: 1: Buick 405. Sedan 2: Jaguar XK 120 coupé. 3: Mercedes Benz 300 Sedan. 4: Opel Kapitän Sedan. 5: Volkswagen.
