Byzantine bronze enkolpion reliquary cross pendant, complete with a hinged suspension loop.
A low-relief Corpus Christi to one face and Virgin Mary figure in orans posture to the reverse. Such crosses would have held secondary relics in them to offer protection to the wearer.
Size: ± 29 x 66,5 mm
Condition: good and solid condition. Signs of wear consistent with age and use. See images.
