The Fat Lava Art Vase Model 269-40, is referred to as "Wien" or "Vienna", and it is a sought-after collectors' item. Pay attention that it still displays the original label sticker. Rare item in both size and state. Crafted by the manufacturer Scheurich in West Germany during the decade of the 1970s, this ceramic pottery piece is a exemplar of the fat lava optic style, and so of the ceramic stream titled WGP: West German Pottery. Glazed with a beautiful glossy red, which gives it a retro yet contemporary look, this vase stands 40 cm tall. In german "Bodenvase" = a vase so big, it should stand on the floor. Marked with the series number and "made in West Germany," and the vase series number. Straight forward and minimalistic design of the 1970s design era.
