Bang & Olufsen - Beogram 1200 White Edition - Excellent condition Turntable

Beautiful Beogram 1200 serviced by B&O expert in amazing condition fits to every interior designed by Jacob Jensen. Design ikon from the late sixties - Beogram 1200 type 5214, which has been overhauled including cleaning, disassembly and re-lubrication of motor bearings, and bringing speed adjustment in order. It starts up immediately and keeps the correct speed - tested for several hours. Cosmetically it appears without serious wear/scratches. The only remark is some marks, where the contra weight has touched the top plate during transport. The original lid is undamaged. It comes with a SP pick-up, which is in very good condition as u can see on picture . There is also a connector DIN to RGA, for non B&O amplifier/receiver with RCA Phono inputs. Please note that a separate Phono/RIAA-module is needed by later amplifiers without Phono input. In 1972 the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA) chose seven Bang & Olufsen products designed by Jacob Jensen to be included in their Design Collection as representing excellent examples of the Museum's criteria for quality and historical importance; design, in fact, which had influenced the twentieth century.
