Meissen - Georg Friedrich Kersting - Dinner service (30) - Deutsche Blume, Blaue Blume und Insekten - Softpaste porcelain - Blue white Dinner Service

Manufacturer: Meissen Designer: Georg Friedrich Kersting Time: Knauf period (1824 - 1923), 19th century Age: 200 years Condition: Excellent condition, no chips or cracks Origin: Estate from old German family property Motif: German flower, flowers and insects in cobalt blue Number: 30 pieces The complete service contains the 30 pieces: 14 dinner plates (24.5 cm) 11 aperitif plates (15.5 cm) 2 large platters (35 cm) 2 deep bowls (27.5 cm) 1 sauce boat with fixed coaster (26 cm) second choice For sale is a 30-piece Meissen service in the classic blue and white style with hand-painted flower and insect painting, dated from the early Knauf period (1824 - 1923) and thus an extremely rare, well-preserved service from the 19th century, which has two World Wars unscathed. The entire tableware includes 14 dinner plates (24.5 cm), 11 aperitif plates (15.5 cm), 2 large platters (35 cm), 2 huge deep bowls (27.5 cm) and 1 sauce boat with fixed coaster (26 cm). The service is in excellent condition for its 200 years. Each painting is elaborately hand-painted and richly decorated with a different flower and insect pattern. The classic pure blue and white motif with insects and flowers is extremely rare and is no longer produced in this form by Meissen. The blue color is painted in underglaze and has run slightly due to its age, which suggests that it was one of the first pieces of the famous blue flower with insect motif and can be classified in the early days of the Meissen knob period, which began in the middle of the 19th century. As a result, it was probably one of the first production lines and received two sanding lines, which, however, is not understandable in terms of the perfection and quality of the service. Only glaze inclusions typical of the time, due to production, are present and testify to the great age of the service. Don't miss out on this cultural treasure in the timeless blue and white design of Meissen porcelain art. The service is carefully packaged and sent in several packages with a tracking number and insured shipping.
