Roman Empire. Constantine I the Great (307-337). Follis. Ticinum. Obv/ CONST/ANTINVS AVG, helmeted and cuirassed bust looking right, with the inscription. Rev/ Vexillum (inscribed VOT/ XX in two lines) between two captives at the ground, with the inscription VIRTVS / EXERCIT. We see the mint T and the office in exergue P. AE 3, 28 g. and 19,1 mm. RIC.114.
Provenance: Purchased by the current owner from a private collector (U.K.; 1990s).
