Byzantine Bronze Pendant-Icon with an image of Military Saint Theodore in military attire, Nimbate, holding Spear and Sword. Very rare image with a classical byzantine iconography characteristics. In the early byzantine period when mostly the Jesus or Virgin Mary were displayed on the icons. At the period which is related to the present icon-pendant also could be seen military saints, and mostly so called military saints like St. Theodore, St. George or St. Demetrius. Nicely shaped and on the finest style according to the byzantine and eastern- orthodox iconographic canon. Very well visible entire image, the loop is broken, otherwise in very good grade of preservation. Very Rare.
