Dimensions: +Size of the sheet: approximately 30.6 x 40.7 cm / 12 x 16 in. Condition: In good condition, with soft handling creases at the edges and minor stains in the margins. Slight discoloration and minor tears on the right border margin. Image very clean otherwise with vivid colors. Issued from the famous set « L’ Estampe Moderne ». Published by Masson & Piazza, Paris. Not unlike the Maitre de L'Affiche series, L'Estampe Moderne was a portfolio printed between 1897-99, published by Imprimerie Champenois, Paris, contained 24 monthly portfolios, with four original lithographs in each. Each was commissioned only for this series. As well as Mucha, some of the contributing artists included Rhead, Meunier, Ibels, Steinlen, Willette and Grasset.
