Isco-Gottingen, Wirgin Edixa Reflex type A + Edixa Westanar 2,8/50mm boxed + acc. - M42 | Analogue camera

This is the first 1954 version of the EDIXA REFLEX with a shutter speed up to 1000/sec and B pose. Build quality is impressive. A piece of handcrafted art. The lens is a superb ISCO GOTTINGEN Edixa Westanar 50mm f2,8. The camera is sold together with all its genuine accessories: - a Zeiss Ikon Ikophot meter from the 50's - macro tubes - 3 viewfinders (1 pentaprism + 2 waist level finders) - 1 additional new focusing screen replacement - 2 mechanical cable release - genuine box and printed documentation ------------- The item is in superb condition despite the age. Viewfinder is clear and clean. Lens glass is crystal clear and clean with NO fungus NO haze NO scratches NO balsam separation. Aperture blades are clean and free from oil. Focusing ring is smooth and precise. Very high optical quality. I have tested this lens on digital camera with an adapter : performances are outstanding under proper light conditions. Camera body is in beautifull condition too. Only a minor ahestetic imperfection in the leather (see arrow in the pictures). Shutter works at every speed, accuracy is unknown. Notice that is normal for this early model that the mirror remain up until you reupload the shutter. Everything seems to work as it should. Anyway since this is a 70 years old item wich have never been serviced, you may find minor imperfections such as dust and/or dirt, and i sell it in AS IS CONDITION.
