A rare bottle of Luxardo's Cherry Brandy when it was still based in Zadar. Founded in 1821 in Zadar by Girolamo Luxardo for the production of rosolio maraschino, a liqueur made from marasca cherries and known in Dalmatia for centuries[The heavy Anglo-American bombing raids of 1943-1944 destroyed a large part of the plant and, with the occupation of Dalmatia by General Tito's communist troops, practically all Italians had to quickly emigrate to the Motherland or were killed.
