Liani - Figurine - Japanese Torii gate; 33 cm - Porcelain
Very rare ceramic figurine.
It represents a Japanese Torii gate with a female figure.
Made by Liani, Italian ceramic factory between 1945 and 1960.
Ceramic factory, successor of "Lenci", active in Vicenza since the end of the 1940s.
The production consists of ceramics, majolica and earthenware, with a modern flavor, generally produced on a limited scale.
The sculptor Gino Tessuto, Otello De Maria and Ina Barbieri collaborate with the factory.
The factory ceased production in 1961.
