Wonderful original large Tingatinga painting (61 by 61 cm) oil on board, by Salum Bushir dating from end of the last century, depicting flamingos in the typical vibrant colours. Inscription on the back to a godchild: To lovely Stéphanie, the elegant young girl of 17 (dancing through life on one leg), With love parrain , Tanzania December 2001. The painting is in good condition, minor scratching and missing flecks of paint, around the sides (corners) paint has come off, is normal ware for its age.
