Pure Ivory - REAL NO Replica.
Rare in both Private and in Museum Collections.
Taken in Arctic Northern Greenland in the 1970s, by the Inuit People.
Photos are taken from different angles so You see the beautifull windings,
on this one both the twistings and the nearly white color is perfect.
Totally straight with a nice point.
This item has a metal tag with number from, The Danish Authority of Nature Protection.
As You can see on Species+ (the Cites List, narwhal from Greenland is List II B in EU.
And do not need Cites certifikat.
NO Export out of EU.
These Rostrums were formerly given as a high value gift from The Danish Royalty to Emperors and Kings all over the World.
