"Allegory of the Harvest" Press, Vines and Grapes" Large table or mantel clock. - Winegrower in period clothing in his vineyards, in front of his wine press, holding a basket full of grapes in one hand, and a wine taster in the other hand, tasting the first juice of his grapes. "DEPREZ" for Architecture. This clock is approximately 130 years old. - White enamel "railway" dial with dual display of Roman and Arabic indexes/numerals, pair of medieval-style "cathedral arrows" hands. note, old slight restoration of enamel at 8 and 4 o'clock. - The 8-day key movement works and strikes the hours and half hours, but as the last revision is unknown, will have to be oiled and serviced by the new buyer. ***Clock delivered complete with its key, its bell and its pendulum. - Total height: 30 cms / 11.9" - Total width = 35 cms / 13.8" - Total depth = 11 cms / 4.5" - Total weight = 3,230 kgs / 115 oz Exceptional ornamentation for home, office or shop.
