Mantel clock - 19th Century - France "Allegory of the Hunt" Rare Table or mantel clock with 3 Signatures: - Antique gold metal - 1850-1900

19th CENTURY, France - Animated naturalistic and rural medieval scene.
"Allegory of the Hunt" - Rare Table or mantel clock with 3 Signatures: DUMOULINEUF + THAIS + DEPREZ
- Medieval hunter in period clothing, posing with his rifle, brandishing his trophy, a wild rabbit. At the top, a "HUNTING RESERVED" sign with other trophies such as: Stag, pheasant and hare.
This clock is approximately 140 years old.
- White enamel dial with Roman indexes/numerals, pair of style "Breguet" hands.
- The 8-day key movement works and strikes the hours and half hours, but as the last revision is unknown, will have to be oiled and serviced by the new buyer.
***Clock delivered complete with its key, its bell and its pendulum.
- Total height: 30 cms / 11.8" - Total width = 26 cms / 10.4"
- Total depth = 10 cms / 4" - Total weight = 2,100 kgs / 75 oz
