A beautiful and naturally worn old handmade wool Afghan rug circa 1940 measuring 180 x 107 cm ( 5.4 x 3.5 ft ). Three hexagonal central motifs each decorated with the geometric objects in rarely seen mixture of gold and copper colours. the colours of wool has been naturally changed from original gold to a copper without any artificial intervention! The rug has been professionally cleaned and washed and has consistent low pile commensurate with the age. Very decorative piece indeed.
