This is a beautiful and original parchment and lacquer tray by Aldo Tura in a vivid red colour. This piece is in good vintage condition showing some signs of age including a small crack in the finish (see photo) and slight peeling under the edges of the corners, with very small signs of aging on the brass. The body is constructed in wood, with stretched, dyed and lacquered goatskin on top. Accents are in brass. This tray was originally part of a larger set, the bar accessories are no longer present. This piece dates from the 1950s or 1960s - though likely the earlier of the two. The tray measures 40 x 28 cm.
