- Isis is the mother of Horus and often shown together. Isis was married with Osiris but Osiris was killed by his brother Seth. The body of Osiris was ripped apart and scattered all over Egypt. Isis, with her magical powers, was able to assemble Osiris back together and was able to get pregnant of him. Horus was born and out of fear from Seth she let Horus float away on the Nile in the hope he was found and raised. This happened and Horus took revenge by killing seth.
