Pocahontas - Flit Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1995) + CERTIFICATE In Disney's Pocahontas, the title character Pocahontas has a pet hummingbird named Flit who initially prefers Kocoum over John Smith, but eventually befriends the Englishman. Animating this tiny character with his nonstop fluttering wings had to be a challenge. That challenge was left up to animator Dave Pruiksma. The character was voiced by longtime sound effects and voice-over actor Frank Welker. This beautiful drawing of the feisty hummingbird is rendered with blue pencil on 12 field animation paper. The drawing provide a wonderful sense of movement, capturing Flit's graceful yet energetic movement in still image. The image come from Sequence 5, Scene 15 of the film. The drawing is in Good to Very Good condition, with some handling and edge wear, including some paper toning and minor staining on the edges.
