Beautiful Canon P, 35mm rangefinder camera: automatic parallax correction with frames for 35, 50 and 100 mm focal lengths; unique non-rotating shutter speed dial that allows a connection to a top-mounted Canon light meter (the latter is functional but doesn't seem very accurate); steel curtain shutter with 1/1000, B, and X settings, with electronic flash sync speed of 1/55 second; rewind handle integrated into the hood. The proposed Canon P is functional: the shutter is ok; the shutters are efficient; the double image has good contrast; film transport is good; camera viewfinder looks ok; the self-timer doesn't seem to work. The camera has not been used with film. However, the lot is being sold as is. Aesthetically, the camera appears well preserved: there are no tears in the leather covering, no dents.
