A deer horn ritual Buddhist talisman/relique from the ancient Golden Triangle (Laos, Thailand, Burma) Hill Tribes culture, second millennium AD.
In good condition. It has been cleaned, but the nice antique patina is preserved. A later metal part has been drilled in the inner part.
Purchased 1990 / Vientiane by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
