Set of 2 vintage Kokeshi - Wood - Japan - Shōwa period (1926-1989)
A set of very detailed handmade Japanese wooden dolls acquired from a private Japanese collector.
Estimated to be at least 50 years old, they are both in very good shape, no mentionable damages at all.
Both kokeshi have a very cute appearance and beautiful decorations which must have taken the artists numerous hours to make.
They have the artisan signature stamp on the side and bottom, please see the pictures for details.
