This is quite possibly a really rare piece of Royal Doulton. This has “ Shylock “ painted on it ,and is really nice to look at . There are many plates of this colour and design , however I cannot find ,anywhere, one of these in this Oblong Shape . This is believed to be made between 1901 - 1921 The plate measures 300mm x 185mm The angular corners Measure 60mm either side and 95mm either end.
