Japan - Old photos of "Nikko", a World Heritage Site, before World War II - Postcard (118) - 1915-1945

◆Old photos of "Nikko", a World Heritage Site, before World War II All Number: 118 sheets Weight: 500g These are many old Japanese postcards. All are from before 1945. These do not have a clear date of manufacture. However, there is information that can be used to read the age. It can be seen that the Japanese reading of "郵便はがき," meaning a postcard, is right-to-left. This is the way the Japanese language was read before 1945, unlike modern Japan. Thus, we can see that these postcards are pre-1945. Toshogu Shrine, where Tokugawa Ieyasu is enshrined, is surrounded by lots of nature and its architecture is magnificent. Recognized as a World Heritage Site, it was and still is a popular destination for Japanese and foreigners alike. These are old and have some stains and tears. Please see the photos taken of all of them. There are many differences from the current architecture and landscape, and it is fun to take a closer look at each and every one of them. This is no longer one of the great historical resources. Please come and see these in person. Carefully packaged and shipped from Japan to overseas.
