KYRO CLASSIC GIN 50CL (PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS NAPUE GIN) - FINLAND The Kyrö Distillery in Isokyrö, Finland created this well-loved gin to evoke the flavours of fresh Finnish summers – made with local rye grain and botanicals including birch leaves and meadowsweet, we'd say mission accomplished. It was even was voted as the World's Best Gin for Gin & Tonic by the IWSC in 2015, so get your tonic ice, fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary to garnish to enjoy this one. TARSIER KHAO SAN GIN - THAILAND 50CL From the Tarsier range comes Khao San Gin, an expression inspired by the foods of Thailand - it was even named after Khao San Road in Bangkok, and bottled at 41.2% ABV as an homage to the 412-metre-long road! This gin features the likes of Thai red chilli, lemongrass and Makrut lime leaves, which are vacuum distilled separately before being blended together with 10 other botanicals. UKIYO YUZU GIN 70CL Japanese gin from the city of Kagoshima in the southern reaches of Kyushu Island. Made by redistilling barley shochu with yuzu peel and other native botanicals, this excellent in a Gin Sour or classic G&T with a wedge of lemon. SIPMSITH VJOP 57.7% ABV - LONDON, UK A 2013 release, Sipsmith V.J.O.P (Very Junipery Over Proof) Gin turns the juniper up to 11 as well as being bottled at higher strength of 57.7%. The process includes a 'triple juniper' technique which adds the juniper at three stages - first it is macerated for three days, then more juniper is added to the pot still and finally vapour infused into the spirit. This will work well in fuller flavoured gin-based cocktails.
