Twenty per cent of the blend is aged in oak for between five and six years, adding an extra layer of complexity. This has notes of lemongrass, camomile and black pepper and will make an extra-spicy Caipirinha. Yaguara Still Strength - 70CL 48% A limited-edition small-batch cachaça from Yaguara that was made using the 2021 sugar cane harvest and bottled at a higher strength. The palate offers notes of lemongrass, chamomile, black pepper, green grass and lime that linger in the finish. Enjoy this cachaça in cocktails such as a Caipirinha, or on its own, over ice. Albeha Silver Organic Cachaca - 70CL 39% ABV Distilled in copper potstills from fresh-cut organically-grown sugarcane from the Bahia region of Brazil, Abelha is a cut above many firewater cachacas, boasting an extremely pure and pungent agricole character. Delightful in long coolers. Avua Jequitiba Rosa - 70CL 40% An aged cachaça from Avuá, Jequita Rosa is sourced from the hills of Carmo in Rio de Janeiro. It's aged for up to two years in a single jequitiba rosa cask, which is a dense and dark hardwood only found in central and southern Brazil. The spirit is part of a series of native wood experiments from the brand, and it is fittingly presented in a striking pink bottle, complete with handsome stopper.
