An early Victorian verry pretty pair of Sterling Silver pair of candlesticks, having round baluster bodies with hand-chased acantus leaf / floral & fluted decoration, detachable nozzles and green velvet underneath the bases. Made in Sheffield, 1840 (184 years old) Made by Henry Wilkinson & Co Fully English hallmarked for sterling silver. The dimensions of this fine pair of hand-made antique silver candlesticks are: Length 20.2 cm Wide at base 11.8 x 11.8 cm Approx. 591 + 543 = 1134 grams (weighted for stability) (bobèches weigh 45 grams together) Condition: Good usable condition, definately considering it's age of 184 years old. They have theire usermarks. One has a small lean, the other one is a pit pressed in where the base meets the stem. Some tiny pinprick indentations and small dents here and there. Length 20.2 cm
Wide at base 11.8 x 11.8 cm
Approx. 591 + 543 = 1134 grams (weighted for stability) (bobèches weigh 45 grams together)

Condition: Good usable condition, definately considering it's age of 184 years old.
They have theire usermarks. One has a small lean, the other one is a pit pressed in where the base meets the stem. Some tiny pinprick indentations and small dents here and there.
