Scientific name: Potential Stolokrosuchus lapparenti, (Larsson and Gado, 2000) Location: Gadoufaoua, Téneré Desert, Niger. Geological Formation: Elrhaz Fm Age: Lower Cretaceous, Aptian/Albian stage ( 113 million years) Size (The biggest): 3,5 cm REF.: 1267 Here we present another relatively abundant tooth morphotype in the Lower Cretaceous materials of the Elrhaz Formation. It seems to be the morphotype corresponding to the genus Stolokrosuchus. The genus Stolokrosuchus only can be found in the Lower Cretaceous outcrops from Erlhaz Formation in the Teneré desert in Niger. These are much less abundant and quite rare fossils than other upper cretaceous crocodiles as the Elosuchus genus from the Ifezouane Fm in South Morocco.
