A Rare and Exquisite Vietnamese Polychrome Covered Box with Floral Patterns, Later Le Dynasty, 15-16th Century Height 7.5 cm / Diameter 9.5 cm Wheel-thrown stoneware with cream slip, incised and underglaze blue painted decoration, clear glaze and overglaze green and red enamel decoration. Six vertical panels round the body, traces of green enamel scattered all over the box. There is another small chip on the outside of the box near the edge, about 0.4cm long. Crack of about 1.1cm in length at the base of the footrim. No restoration.
