Wall clock - Alessi - Contemporary ABS gray. Quartz movement - After 2000

This ''Walter Wayle II'' wall clock was designed by Philippe Starck in 1990. The name Walter Wayle refers to the cozy round 'whale shapes' that the hands have. The clock has no dial but only 2 hands, which makes this design somewhat revolutionary. The quartz movement is powered by a size A - LR6 1.5 V battery. The clock is as new and never been used. Delivered with new battery and a nail to hang each clock. Phillipe Starck: The French designer Philippe Starck (b. 1949) studied in École Nissim de Camondo in Paris and stayed in Paris after his studies. He became famous for his style and even the president Francois Mitterand asked him to design a suite to his palace. Starck boosted his career In the 80s and 90s when he started working for Kartell. Starck works with the famous brands like Vitra, Flos, Driade and Bareli. Hence Starck became a influencer an inspirator for designers that form the basis of today's design brands.
