LATE EMPIRE NAPOLEON 111 DAMASK LINEN TABLE LINEN WITH 10 NAPKINS - Textile - 1.9 m - 1.35 m
This is an excellent set of table linen in pure linen with 10
napkins measuring 67cm x 78cm.
It is a typical table linen from the early 20th Century
where the average dining room tables were a mere 1m50
or maximum 2 meters.
This table linen is 1m90 long by 1m35 and to maximise it's virtue is to
cover your longer table first with a plain and longer table linen and then
deck the table with this table linen. Failing that you can use some
of the surplus napkins( there are 10 napkins ) and put these on either side
of the end of the table. Nobody will either see this or remark on it.
The damask design on the linen is large squares with a kind of
trellis frame and in each square a large circle.
The initials however are beautifully embroidered in English style script
and in high relief with each initials holding a small twig of leaves.
The initials are 5cm x 5cm.
An excellent set of table linen.
