The tone, as well as the refined lines of the sculpture, is typical of the Art Deco style, which developed in Europe and the United States throughout the 1920s. Josep Pujol i Muntaner designed for the ceramic brand Tamarit CMT a set of decorative animals that are characterized, like this icebear, by their simple but forceful lines and bright tone.
