Set of 2 vintage Kokeshi - Wood - Japan - Shōwa period (1926-1989)
A set of very beautiful Japanese wooden dolls from a private Japanese collector.
Both kokeshi have a very cute appearance and beautiful decorations.
The smaller one is quite unusual as it has a childs head on top of the head.
The larger one has an usually shaped head as well, and colourful flower paintings on the body.
It has the artist signature in red on the back.
Both are in good shape with some scratches, minor traces of use.
Sizes:
19 x 6 x 6 cm.
18 x 6 x 6 cm.
