Thulin - Vase (3) - 2224 - Faience (tinglaze) - Set of Thulin model 2224
A beautiful set of 1 flower pot "jardinière" and 2 vases, all numbered as model 2224. Produced by the Faïenceries de Thulin (Belgium). The design dates probably to the mid 1920's although the dragonfly in relief are rather an Art Nouveau influence. The 3 vases have a splendid high quality blue glaze with white and brown drips.
Very rare oppotunity to purchase a complete set of this model.
Very good condition, no break or crack.
The flower pot dimensions are height: 17 cm, length 26 cm and 13 cm wide
The two vases are 29 cm heigh and 12 cm in diameter
Depicted in the book "Waals aardewerk voor de huiskamer - de productie van de S.A. des Faïenceries de Thulin 1923 - 1973", 2013, p. 105.
