This image of the Savior most fully reveals His divine and human nature. Jesus Almighty is depicted frontally, sitting on a throne in full length, wearing a cloak without external attributes of divine dignity. The Savior's right hand is raised in blessing. He holds a gospel in his left hand. A nimbus with a cross painted on it forms the face of Christ, and in it are placed the letters IC and XC, representing the Christogram ICXC (Jesus Christ). This image traditionally occupies the space of the central dome of the Orthodox church. Various floral elements are visible at the four ends of the icon. The icon is from the 20th century.
