Centrepiece (2) - A large openwork Herend decorative bowl and a larger vase decorated with a green Indian basket - Porcelain

This fabulous round pot has a burnished rim, gold trim, hand-painted green and gold mesh interior, and has been given the famous Indian basket pattern decoration. The material of the bowl itself is decorated with a woven basket pattern. The nets were also decorated with 24 carat gold. The vase bears the same pattern. Lots of gold trim. The bowl is serial numbered 8431, the vase is serial numbered 6430, and both are stamped Herend blue first class shield under the glossy glaze. It can be a beautiful decoration for any cabinet, set up in a holder, or for the apartment if it is hung on the wall. But it also looks good in the middle of the table, used as a fruit basket. Herend porcelain is famous for its quality and exclusivity, and the Indian basket pattern is one of the brand's iconic designs, perhaps one of its oldest. The Apponyi pattern was born from this pattern. The sample made at the request of Count Albert Apponyi was created by enlarging a detail of the Indian flower basket (fleurs des indes). This bowl is usually on a white porcelain base with floral patterns and other decorative elements. The basket pattern often depicts flowers and leaves placed in baskets, which gives the product a special and elegant look. Both are flawless. The bowl is Ø 25.5 cm The vase has a diameter of 14.5 cm and a height of 15 cm Gift ideas for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries. It comes from a private collection. Please see the pictures as they are part of the description. It will be well packaged and trackable postage. Shipping to countries outside the EU may take longer due to customs clearance, please understand!
