We are in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, a few km from Castiglione della Pescaia: here extend the 170 hectares of Fattoria Le Mortelle vineyards, owned by the Marchesi Antinori. The estate is set in the center of a small amphitheatre, on soil rich in silt, clay, sand and skeleton, crucial elements for the cultivation of varieties such as Cabernet and Carménère and it is from the blend of these grapes that Poggio alle Nane is born, a deep and dynamic red with great aromatic complexity, a wine with rich spicy sensations. Intense ruby red colour, it fascinates the nose with sensations of ripe fruit, in particular currants and blackberries, accompanied by coffee, sweet paprika and licorice. An aromatic range of lavender and Mediterranean herbs acts as a backdrop.
