Monumental Art Deco huge sculpture of a pair of lions, designed by the famous German artist Max Herman Fritz in 1934 for Rosenthal Selb Art Department, in perfect condition. The sculpture is depicting a large pair of lions striding on rectangular natural base, polychrome hand painted in naturalistic colors to perfection. Extremely rare in this fabulous condition! Max Hermann Daniel Fritz (1873 - 1948) was a reputed sculptor and medal-designer in Germany, that worked for Rosenthal between 1926 and 1946.
