A set of 3 wooden Royal Pet animals by made by the Japanese Senshukai company.
Consisting of Elephant, Pelican and Parrot.
They are all in very good shape, considering their age, between 50 and 60 years old.
All moveable parts are moving super smooth.
The type and color of wood is a bit different between them, implying they are probably from different production series. The Parrot seems to be the oldest.
Royal Pet is a series of wooden animals manufactured by a Japanese corporation Senshukai between the limited time of 1960-1970s.
Senshukai, originally a Kokeshi Doll manufacturer, was inspired by European wooden toys, and for a short period produced Japanese wooden toy animals called "Royal Pet".
These rare collectors items are handmade by Kokeshi craftsmen, using Japanese cherry tree.
