A delightful and exceptionally well modelled porcelain figure representing the moment from the Grimm brothers´ fairytale The Frog Prince when the frog first speaks to the princess, measuring 21.5cm in height and weighing 320g, decorated in red and gold enamels and monogrammed to the base by the artist. Stamped to the underside with maker´s mark of Aelteste Volkstedter Porzellanfabrik, a mark used from 1915 to 1934.
Condition: Overall very good, pinky finger chipped on right hand, no other damages or repairs. Minimal wear .
