Utiliser un appareil photo argentique est toujours un pari. On pense savoir ce qu’on a
pris, mais au final c’est souvent autre chose, parfois en mieux parfois en flop. Faire des
surimpressions fait montrer le taux d’incertitude de plusieurs crans car on ne sait pas
comment les deux images vont s’entendre sur le film. Au départ il y a l’idée de jouer
avec la mémoire instantanée pour mélanger deux impressions, deux graphismes en noir
et blanc appartenant au même lieu. Comme si on essayait de concrétiser un instantané de
photo fiction que notre imagination aurait créé de toutes pièces. Pour moi, ce délire
renferme une magie créative aux possibilités aussi infinies que fascinantes surtout dans
un paysage urbain aussi riche que Paris. Quand la pellicule encore mouillée sort de la
cuve l’adrénaline est à son maximum car c’est là que l’on va savoir si l’imaginaire a
rencontré le réel. Rien d’autre ne peut vous donner ce sentiment d’avoir réussi quelque
chose là où tout pouvait vous échapper. La sensualité du film en plus.
