Pure Art Deco one-of-a-kind Karl Ens porcelain figurine of an Olympic Athlete Woman, rare collectible piece, in perfect condition. This magnificent sculpture depicts a kneeling athlete prepared to start the run competition, most probably made for the Olympics in Berlin, 1936 (opened by the Führer itself), extremely limited series, collector item. The sculpture was produced by the Karl Ens Porcelain Factory in Volkstedt, during the middle 20th century, marked on the base with Ens Mill on Green color (1919-1945), made in white painted porcelain, heavily glazed, with slightly underglaze ivory shades. It is in perfect condition, Like New Never Used, marked with the green Ens “mill” mark of the period and impressed numbered #15 on the back of the base, artist impressed marked on the top of the base (German sculptor and porcelain ceramist - Arno Oswald Zauche 1875 - 1941), NO chips, NO cracks, NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of description.
