ERIC has photographed young people participating in Hong Kong demonstrations on numerous occasions since the early summer of 2019. Hong Kong is ERIC's birthplace. He has been photographing the people and the city that live there for a long time and met this major turning point. While intuitively feeling the young people as if they were his former alter ego, he has captured their appearance on the other side of the lens. At some point, I felt the urge to join the demonstrations, walking alongside them and capturing their indomitable portraits on camera. Young people behind the lens.
