This precious jacquard from the Verel de Belval line is inspired by an 18th century archive document: a botanical plate signed by Jean Pillement. A chic pair of cushions made with Verel de Belval - Métaphores "Kintsugi" fabric in "Malachite"color (24% Cotton, 25% Polyester, 20% Recycled Polyester, 31% Viscose) and two total-look cushions made with "Monochrome 25" in blue teal color, the extra quality velvet made as special production by i-AMF. Arranged in a tree of life thanks to the play of wefts, flowers, roses, poppies and unreal and heterogeneous foliage make up a delicate decor connected twice in the width. The gold highlights of the pattern, encrusted in the lines of the patinated design, evoke the art of Japanese Kintsugi. An ancestral technique consisting of underlining the broken parts of a damaged object with gold. ATTENTION: This lot do not include cushion stuffings.
