The rock is coarse-grained and consists of mm-sized grains of pyroxene (intergrowth of low-Ca- and Ca-pyroxene; approximately 70 vol%) and interstitial plagioclase/maskelynite grains (~30 vol%, 0.3-1.0 mm). Plagioclase is mostly transformed to maskelynite, but many grains are still crystalline at least at their edges (in contact to pyroxene).
