This is a highly collectible two-volume set of Astro Boy (Japanese: 鉄腕アトム) by Osamu Tezuka, the “God of Manga.”
Published on December 8, 1978 by Asahi Sonorama, this deluxe edition includes Volume 1 and 2, both in first edition and complete with the original obi (paper band).

Each book features a hardcover with thick, high-quality pages. Despite being over 40 years old, both books are in very good internal condition, though the external slipcase has some visible aging and wear due to long-term storage.

A rare find for collectors, especially with both the obi intact—something seldom preserved. A beautiful representation of postwar Japanese manga heritage.
