Neat antique baker´s clock, made in France around 1900. This type of clock is known as a Horloge/Pendule Boulangère in France. Apparently it was mostly bakers who used this type of clock. But it could also be the case that the shape of the clock, which resembles a large round bread with a flattened out bottom, was the cause for naming it as such. Any way, she is easily moved due to the solid pendant and the mounting chain. It is clear that she has recently gained appraisal. This clock is of the more luxurious type, with bronze adornments, a brass chain and a beautiful neat cobalt blue porcelain case with a flower pattern. The dial is also made of porcelain, has Art Nouveau numerals and beautifully styled hands. The movement has been cleaned and was equipped with a new spring, so the clock runs immaculately. All bronze and brass parts have been polished. A fitting key will be included.
