Antique and rare russian imperial silver basket/centerpiece.
The basket dated 1866 in Moscow, fully marked. The basket is engraved with a noble crown monogram.

Assay mark - "В.C." Viktor Vasilyevich Savinsky, 1866
Silver fineness mark - 84 zolotniki (875/1000)
Town mark - Moscow
The silverware factory is founded by Dmitry's father, Ivan Semyonovich Gubkin. Court supplier since 1855. The company participated in exhibitions: 1861 in St. Petersburg, 1862 in London.
Height with handle 19 cm, length 27 cm, width 22 cm, weight 553 grams.
