Lu Fulin, born in Shenzhou County, Hebei Province in 1946, graduated from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 1969. Having studied under Sun Qifeng, who took him as a disciple. Lu Fulin spent more than 30 years teaching in Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. He served as president and editor-in-chief of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Newspaper Office. He is now member of China National Arts and Crafts Society and member of Tianjin Artists Association.
