El anuncio publicado por Catawiki menciona que el artículo es un octante y en realidad es un sextante. El vendedor no hace caso de mis argumentos basados en pruebas reales y se niega reembolsarme.
Response by seller
The instrument is published on Catawiki with a full description including the defects and with many pictures. Included in the pictures is also an inspection certificate, issued in 1946 by the KNMI, the official inspection authority for these instruments in the Netherlands. The certificate explicitly calls the instrument an Octant, specifying the angle, covered on the scale of the instrument. I rely on the expertise of this official instance. I have not ignored the buyer's arguments, but I have given him my honest opinion, based on the expertise of the KNMI. If the matter (octant versus sextant) is of such importance to the buyer, he could have easily asked me for more information beforehand. The buyer announced -without my consent or proposal- to return the instrument (although I have not received the instrument as yet)
